7: the empty tomb
John 20 v 1

 "Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went
to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance."
This Station has been created by the Monday Group 
The tomb stands empty. The huge stone that was used to close the entrance to the tomb on Good Friday had been moved. What had happened to Jesus Body?
 
Mary Magdalene is upset and terrified.  She runs to find the disciples and gives the only explanation that she can - that his body had been taken out of the tomb and she didn’t know where they had put him!  They did not understand from scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.
 
This station shows the stone rolled away.  In Jesus footprints moving away from the tomb there are flowers blooming.  There are other signs of new life all around.  How many can you spot?
