Our Stall at the Marlow Carnival - 15-Sep-18.

It's what we do that counts!

Representing just some of the things that happen at Marlow Methodist Church, Pam Thompson and Jackie Duxbury put on a colourful display of Traidcraft and One-Can products at this year’s Carnival in Higginson Park. In this they were helped by a first-rate assembly team of Neil, Charlotte & Henry Manthorpe and Michael Crotley who erected, positioned and re-positioned the Gazebo.

The team also helped put out an attractive range of confectionary and artefacts produced by Traidcraft and One Can.

OK, the latter’s display of nappies and baked beans might not have looked quite as enticing, but these are the sort of practical things One Can offers and which are genuinely appreciated by so many visitors to our church.

It was a good day and we are very grateful to Pam and Jackie for their initiative as well as all who helped, not forgetting Roy & Sue Harris !

Sponsored cycle ride - Historic Churches of Buckinghamshire - a big thank you to Sue, Paddy and Vic for cycling and thank you to all those who sponsored them - a cheque has been sent to the Trust for £223 from our Church.

Autumn plant sale - this was held on Saturday 15th September.

Action for Children - thank you to everyone who helped with or supported the lunch in April - we raised £359 for the work with children and families of this important charity.
