Women's breakfast – Saturday 9th June from 9.00am to 11.00am at All Saints Church Hall on the Causeway – Lois Cuthbert will be speaking on ‘The promise of His presence’ – Lois and her husband founded Riverside Church in Birmingham and is currently a life coach – suggested donation £5 – to book a place please call/email the Parish Office - 01628 481806 / parish.office@4u-team.org

 


 

Strawberry cream teas - the annual garden party in aid of Home Farm Trust is on Saturday 2nd June at 3.00pm at the home of Margery & Nigel Hodson - tickets are £6 each from Sue Harris and Margery Hodson - there will be a choir performing and a display of beautiful vintage coaches - do come and support this worthwhile charity and enjoy a lovely afternoon in the garden - thank you - please speak to Sue Harris for more details

 


 

Lighthouse 2018 - helping at Lighthouse is great fun and very rewarding, there are lots of jobs that need doing and so something for everyone - please register to help at https://lighthousecentral.org - select Marlow from the drop-down list and then complete your details - we are also looking for some administrative help in the months leading up to the week – if you want to know more about Marlow Lighthouse, please contact Sarah Jones.

 


 

Jonah in June - what do you do when you hear the call of God?  How does God’s mercy shape your mission? - learn more by studying the book of Jonah - both the Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening small groups will be using the material and it will be the basis of our worship during the month - there will also be a group meeting at 1.00pm in the Welcome Area on Thursday 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th June – speak to Neil Manthorpe for more information.

 


 

Chairs and tables for 'Lunchtime Musical Melody' on 5th and 12th June - Norman Donkin is being supported by Chives Catering who will offer light snacks - donations to charity - our hope that this combination will attract passing shoppers and office workers and give a positive image of our Church as a focal point for the town - please help by lending any small garden tables and chairs you have to make our forecourt appealing - Paddy Gallaugher will arrange collection and return - thank you.

 


 

Transport to hospital - if you are able to help from time-to-time with taking someone to a hospital appointment, please speak to Margerie Hodson - thank you.

 


 

Action for Children - thank you to everyone who helped with or supported the lunch in April - we raised £359 for the work with children and families of this important charity

 


 

Traidcraft - trading for a fairer world - you are all warmly invited to the Marlow manse (98 Wycombe Rd, SL7 3JE) on Friday 15th June at any time between 9.00am and 9.00pm - on sale will be fairly traded foods, crafts, jewellery, clothing, and hand made embroidered cards - coffee and cake will be on the go all day - please do come and bring a friend - Pam Thompson.
