Marlow Methodist Church
Sharing God's Love
Some information on this page may relate to when we are back to normal, latest information for now is on the News & Events page.
Cooinda (Aboriginal for 'Happy Place') is a friendship centre which takes place in the Wesley Hall on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10:30am and 12:15pm.
A warm welcome is extended to anyone who wishes to pop in for a cup of coffee, tea or soup and a chat.
The church is open for prayer or quiet reflection. Christian literature and the newspapers are available to browse through.
Cooinda is organised by Churches Together in Marlow.
One of the nice people that come along to Cooinda posted this on 'Marlow Life' facebook:
"The Methodist Church in Spittal St is open Tuesday's Friday's & Saturday mornings from 10:30am. You can have tea coffee cake & biscuits for a £1 donation.
You do not need to attend the Methodist Church to go there & can have a chat to your hearts content.
I am new to Marlow & found it a great way of meeting people & making friends.
You may have seen the sign outside saying Cooinda. For those who don't know, that means Happy Place & it certainly is that.
Our Marlow Wombles go there & if it is good enough for them then it speaks for itself."
